“Double Crisp” - Data Egg 001 began with the idea of repurposing e-waste. The goal was to honor these objects’ pasts and transform the materials while preserving the level of expression they once stored. By destroying these items, I commit them to a new life as sculptures, emphasizing the fond memories they helped create while functioning in the background. I aim to make data eggs uniquely accessible to others in forms that rival everyday collections of tunes, movies, or games that might be gathering dust.
